Five work packages move the project from understanding the climate–health nexus through integrating models with local knowledge to improving policy and practice.
Builds the consortium's governance backbone: stakeholder mapping, the management committee, thematic committees, advisory board, and local working groups, plus communication and dissemination across the five-year project.
Surveys existing climate, mental-health, and physical-health models, then co-creates site-specific causal-loop diagrams and agent-based models. Produces a comparative meta-model and vulnerability dashboards that link climate exposure to health outcomes across the four cases.
Brings together secondary data on climate-sensitive disease, post-extreme-event mental-health surveys, and a system-level analysis of primary-health-care capacity in each case site. Surfaces where the health system bends and where it breaks under climate stress.
Engages residents at each site as co-researchers. Designs participatory workshops and equips community members with digital mobile tools to collect real-time data during and after extreme weather events, ensuring models reflect lived experience rather than only administrative records.
Develops an integrative urban climate-stress framework, simulates city-level interventions using the WP2 models, and runs pilot living-lab interventions in one Brazilian and one Dutch site. Translates findings into policy advice tailored to each municipality.
